I didn't think I was going to enjoy this workshop as the few times I printed last year and testing fabric screen printed this year, I liked the end result but it always took a very long time to get to that point and things always went wrong during the process.
Using a table top machine
This time round a few of us in the group used a table top screen print machine as all the others were full. It turns out I actually prefer this method, I feel more in control of the placement of my images and its less daunting for me.
Colours
The lady in the print room came over to me and asked me if I had ever thought about using risograph as a print method. I have only recently discovered what this is but apparently the colours I chose to use are two of the six they use. I want to look into this at some point, maybe if I decide to make a zine etc. and see how it works. I found a printer in Leeds who specialise in this type of print!
