I thought it would be a good idea if I started thinking about what colours I want to use before I print with coloured inks. As the subject matter is fairly dreamy and almost whimsical a midnight blue could help me capture this. I am also generally a fan of pink, and I think these colours compliment each other really well. An overlap of purple is created with this too.
By using emulsion tester pots I could visualise how the colours could sit next to each other.
