Mis-Registration
Today I began playing around a bit more with the linocut, adding my mono print texture and colour on Photoshop. Whilst moving elements around on the page I tried mis-registering the pink over the blue - I much prefer this one to the one on the left. I feel like it embodies a traditional print method.
Here I used the above pillar alongside a mono print and the 'screen' filter on the drop down menu. I think the effect it creates is quite interesting. I tried adding another texture over the original blue but I think this makes it far too busy.
