The roughs I am actually using for the final images I made at 1.5x the given measurements, so I can make the details and scale down afterwards. My process for paper cutting involves drawing out the image and then tracing each element in order to make the same shape out of paper. This is my favourite part of making the image, finally seeing things come together.
