Starting the task of roughing 60 designs/ideas I focused mainly on the ideas of the identity of an actor or performer/costume, and how actors change their appearance constantly for roles. This lead on to Shakespeare's 'hand of the maker', and playing around with scale. I also wanted to somehow play around with the idea of bringing Shakespearean plays into the modern age by including more contemporary imagery.

I may need to hone in on one theme for all three images, although this may be a bit tricky. I need to work out whether they will still link if taken from slightly different areas of my research.
