Experimentation
I have enjoyed testing out facial expression and translating this within my image making. After the last project I was itching to continue with creating shapes and paper cutting. I find this way of thinking about an image easier for me to describe posture and play around with placement. The three-dimensional aspect is also something I really like as an effect, it creates depth and a hand-made quality that survives a digital process. With flat drawings I find that sometimes when edited digitally something about the authenticity is lost.
