This is the pattern I made to put in the background of the second illustration. Obviously, I will make it more subtle when I place it in the actual image, but doing it in these colours to start off with meant I could see what I was doing more clearly. I actually really enjoy making simple patterns, there is something very satisfying when something looks so symmetrical! Although I did miss out a couple of the motifs, which I will have to add in on the image.
