Too flat!
The first Mary I drew from the roughs didn't seem to be working, she looked a bit too two-dimensional (maybe alongside the addition of Mrs Medlock) so I decided to create a character that faced the back of the frame towards the viewer. I like the new stance but not really the face of the new Mary. I will continue to work on this and hopefully I will end up with something I am happy with.
