Fragility of life
Learning more and more about Sylvia Plath's life, it is hard to focus on something other than tragedy. I think a running theme found within her own personal story and also reflected in her work is this idea of the fragility of life. I think this is an area I want to explore, to come up with symbols for that rather than misfortune or sadness. She left behind such a legacy that I think it would be a shame and almost an injustice to the person I feel like I know an awful lot about to solely focus on her death.
