Abigail Halpin's work influenced my decisions when I started to focus on nature and plants. I liked the arrangement of the patterns and the vibrant colours used. I came across her work on Pinterest and more recently when scrolling through Instagram. The technique of vibrant colours mixed with detail create a kind of whimsical effect which I enjoy. This image in particular made me think of home, Nottingham, and Sherwood Forest - whether it is supposed to be Robin Hood or not I have no idea!
