For inspiration I started looking at other book covers that have utilised the process of paper cutting. These ones in particular stood out to me as I like the way the paper has been integrated into the type. The layering of the different colours in the image on the right is something I am looking at in my own work, creating shadow. In the image on the left, the depth created by the perspective of the paper is something that intrigued me - although it is not something I am doing in this brief, I would like to explore this later on.
