Faces

The problem

I am so bad at faces! Including details of a face usually takes me longer than the rest of the image, I think I get hung up on expression and how I want the character to be interacting with the rest of the scenery. Because of this I often use shape and side profiles to highlight a face rather than focus on this. Within this project I want to push myself to at least try to include expression, I may surprise myself but if it goes the way I think it will I can always go back to relying on the technique I am used to. So far I do not like this tests, I will carry on experimenting and see what happens.
