I added the texture to both front and back covers. The quote on the back I thought worked well alongside the subject matter I chose to focus on. I wanted a powerful image for the front cover of an actor/performer and the stance I chose to draw highlights the drama within Shakespeare's plays. I am not sure how well the image is read I think it might be a bit too busy, if I did it again I would have included negative space in the crowd and maybe a title.
