Minimal objects, faces and hands to create editorial imagery. I like how Thibault's work seems to flow seamlessly, at first glance you don't see the hidden meaning. Often you have to read the article to understand the metaphor.

Techniques
Rodriguez's work has a hand made feel to it and looks like it's made more traditionally using cut paper and textures - a technique I am very much accustomed to.
Symbols
There are a lot of things within things included in his work. Shapes within shapes. I might take a leaf out of his book for the editorial brief. It is difficult to come up with ideas for compositions but I like the negative space effect this creates.
