This picture of a unicorn cat made me feel better about the whole thing
To sort out the problem of shadows caused by the scanner I wanted to go down to photography and see if taking photos of the imagery under better lighting would work. I only had an hour before PPP and when I went down nobody was in the photography room, I asked around but apparently they were still on their lunch break! On my way back upstairs I fell over on a wobbly step too, maybe that's a sign that I should go with the scanned images. All in all, this turned out to be a bit of a disastrous trip (pun intended).
