Nancy Liang

I was really drawn to Nancy Liang's work when browsing illustration blogs. The animations within the gifs are fairly simple but extremely effective in what they are communicating. I feel like I could have learned more from this kind of approach and not tried to take on too much too quickly. In future projects I really want to learn from this and try to minimise what I include within an image, just leaving what is necessary to communicate the relevant messages within the images. Compositionally, I really like the inclusion of a line of sight and scale within this gif in particular. The little man next to the house and the moon all add to the way the image is percieved as a whole.
