Regency Era

I have been looking at a few different websites to research the regency era, primarily looking into what the decor and fashion was like at that time.

This site had a few articles about what life was like in the regency period and the differences between ladies, gentlemen, children and servants. Obviously, the roles of men and women were so different at this time, this may be something I highlight within my images - the vast difference in clothing may be enough to demonstrate this.

This site focuses mostly on the particular fashions of the time. The necklines and detail of the hairstyles that were popular around this era are things I want to focus on and include in my illustrations. I think this will be a way of people recognising Jane Austen's writing within the design.
