During reference drawing I found that my awareness and translation of an object improved the more times I repeated a process. With spiders I started drawing with the back of the paint brush dipped in ink, I liked this a lot but decided to try brush strokes when replicating the image.
I did the same when observational drawing. I enjoyed trying out different methods and think that a watery process was suitable to get across the 'squishy' texture of my money plant. I really enjoyed today and these workshops are a really exciting way for me to experiment.
